Artist's Description
I took this photo of a starfish plant or stapelia hirsuta on my patio. I neglect it something terrible but it still blooms it's little heart out. They're suppose to smell like rotten meat but this one doesn't have much of a scent thank goodness! I love all the textures these blooms have.
About Marna Edwards Flavell
(Click on Collections tab to see genre) Not a lot to tell. I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon and I'm just now trying to get back into the swing of things after taking a nearly 30 year break. After being forced into an early "retirement" due to our economy I needed something to help calm me and keep me busy and in a positive frame of mind so I took this opportunity to get back into painting and drawing. Right now I'm trying a variety of mediums to see which one I'm the most comfortable with... Follow and like Marna's Facebook page at facebook.com/MarnaEdwardsFlavell
