These are my 3 cats, all brothers and sister. Frida is the little grey kitty, petite and sweet but very shy. Kahlo is the big, 20 pound, wide eyed one in the back, calm, gentle and loving. PJ is the pudgy round one. Everything about PJ is round especially his eyes which are always so wide open he looks like he's forever asking a question. I tried to get the look of American folk art with this one, thus the flat 2D look.

I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon and I'm just now trying to get back into the swing of things after taking a nearly 30 year break. After being forced into an early "retirement" due to our economy I needed something to help calm me and keep me busy and in a positive frame of mind so I took this opportunity to get back into painting and drawing.
